Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

You're right, he didn't make a bet. But, he did make a pretty bold statement.
That's like me telling my kids I'll give them $5 for every A or "pass" they get on their official report card. Sure as crap, know what happened? They both got straight A's. Know what I did? I paid up because I'm a man that made a statement and honored it.
Your absolutely right, I agree, he should do what he said. No one forced him to say it. Now that it is out on Twitter we will see what happens
I don't see where it was even a bet. Guy says Duke is gonna lose, Roddy says no they won't and if they do I''ll get you tickets. Guy was in a great position, risked nothing and had everything to gain. That being said he is getting tickets so hard to be real tough about it. But White did say he would give Season tickets on the 50 so it would be nice if he followed throgh with the whole thing.
I'll give Roddy a break though, he may still do it, he has to be pissed about his team losing to begin with and then on top of it he opened his mouth and has to back it up. Not a good day for him all in all. Give him a day or 2 to hink about it and maybe he will change his mind

Hey if the guy gets game tickets good enough. Maybe White shouldn't have said that but c'mon, its Twitter.
What if the guy responded with saying he would buy White a 109.123.111.24 and then lost? Would he get the same negative attention? I doubt it.
Well, no, because Dylan isn't a high profile athlete running his mouth. He's just an average folk who happens to follow Roddy.
Personally... Roddy ran his mouth, lost, and now is welching on what he said. He'd have HUGE PR is he did own up to his proclomation and got the season tickets to Dylan. But instead, he's gonna get all the flack for backing out.
Maybe it's not a billion-dollar largesse from some silver-spoon member of the elite, but it'll do.
After Atlanta Falcons receiver Roddy White tweeted Tuesday that Duke's basketball squad was a shoo-in to win the NCAA Tournament, one of his followers, Dylan Hoyt, begged to differ:
Dylan Hoyt @DHoyt77
@roddywhiteTV @kristenm2185 Mercer gonna beat em first round! #478
Roddy White @roddywhiteTV
@DHoyt77 if mercer beat duke I will give you season tickets 50 yard line first row
Like clockwork, 14th-seeded Mercer on Friday dropped a 78-71 hammer on the Blue Devils, meaning Hoyt just hit pay dirt.
Right, Mr. White?
UPDATE: We've heard from Roddy, who's in no mood to furnish anyone with season-long passes:
Roddy White @roddywhiteTV
I lost a bet and I will give him tickets to the bears game since he is a bears fan done with this bet
