- Browns cut Vince Young -
"The Browns picked up one quarterback in the draft, so they released another one. The team announced they have released Vince Young.
Cleveland signed the one-time first-round draft pick on May 1. With Johnny Manziel now on the roster, there isn’t room for Young.
Though he’s been on the Bills and Packers’ pre-season rosters, he hasn’t played in a regular season game since 2011, and was inconsistent during his time with Tennessee and Philadelphia. Last season, the Browns had terrible quarterback luck. He could have made sense for the team.
However, the Browns decided not to stick with Young, and now will focus on the Manziel-Brian Hoyer quarterback competition."

If you've already pre-ordered your Johnny Manziel Browns jersey, hopefully you read the return policy carefully because Johnny Football might not be going to Cleveland. According to FoxSports.com's Jay Glazer, the Browns absolutely aren't going to take Manziel with the fourth overall pick in the NFL Draft.
Not only did Glazer say the Browns wouldn't take Manziel, but he called out others who said that the team might take Johnny Football.
"ESPN has reported all night that the Cleveland Browns are taking Johnny Manziel, and I am here to tell you they are not," Glazer told Fox Sports Radio. "NFL Network, I know they had come out and said well Jimmy Haslam has told everybody in the room that he wants it to happen, that is not happening. In fact, it's the other way. Jimmy Haslam has walked into the Brown's draft room and said, 'Hey guys, this is not what I do for a living, it's what you do for a living. Whatever you do, I trust.' There has not been some edict like that. I have no idea where that came from, but that's not happening."
The only thing we know for sure about Manziel is that he's in New York and we know that because on Tuesday, he tweeted for the first time since Jan. 10.
As for other cities Manziel won't end up in: Glazer said there's no chance that the Raiders would take Johnny Football with the fifth overall pick. If the Raiders do go with a quarterback at No. 5, there's a good chance it will be Fresno State's Derek Carr.
CBS Sport NFL Insider Jason La Canfora says that Raiders owner Mark Davis is smitten with Carr. However, there is concern that taking Carr at five could be a bit high. Let's be honest though, the Raiders making a reach with their first round pick is an annual draft rite we all expect at this point.
So much for that one.

Johnny Manziel - QB - Browns
Sources tell the Cleveland Plain Dealer the Browns have been "alarmed" by the off-field actions of Johnny Manziel since trading up to select him with the 22nd overall pick in May's draft.
The Plain Dealer reports the team was particularly bothered by a picture that surfaced of Manziel rolling a $20 bill in a bar bathroom, suggestive of someone preparing to use snort cocaine. "Some in the organization feel he's lost ground in the quarterback competition heading into camp," adds beat reporter Mary Kay Cabot. Manziel reportedly "regressed in practice" this spring, and team brass believes it resulted from "not enough dedication to the playbook." Sources also told Cabot the Browns "have been stunned by his non-stop antics" off the field. All signs continue to point to Brian Hoyer starting Week 1 against the Steelers.

What is the obsession with this guy? Don't get it at all. He seems to be a total narcissist to me and the way the media fawns over him when he hasn't done anything is ridiculous. I hope Brian Hoyer gets the job and holds on to it. Manziel could use a little humbling.Adopted Bronco: DeMarcus Ware
