  • Seattle media and fans?

I am really confused by the hatred coming from both the fans and Seattle media. Take a listen to the link to the Brock Huard and Mike Salk show. http://mynorthwest.com/category/pod_...k%20and%20Salk

Weird. Maybe just leftover animosity from the AFCW days? The way they act, you think THEY had lost the SB.

Maybe. I've always found the media really anti-Bronco in Seattle. I remember watching the preseason game last season and it was broadcast by a Seattle media outlet. I couldn't believe how annoying the announcers were and were clearly homers. I get they're going to be biased a bit but it was beyond bad. I had to turn the volume off because it was that annoying. I was lucky enough to watch the Denver feed with John Lynch last night. I tuned in to the Seattle feed for a while and couldn't handle it.

You can tell Seattle is not used to having a good football team. They take these preseason games way too seriously. It's one thing for a few fans to chant about cheaters/redemption or whatever at a preseason game, but when two radio talk show hosts spend their entire show venting their anger after a preseason loss you have to wonder. The rest of Seattle is listening to these clowns.

It's weird how the Seattle Seahawks, themselves, treated last year's preseason game like it was a playoff game, and now their fans are befuddled that a few Broncos fans would do the same. And the Broncos fans should know better. We've had great teams before.

Their media, their players and their fans are all mouthpieces. Nothing more. When the Seahawks fail to make the playoffs this year, we won't have to deal with any of them for another decade or so.

Try watching a Browns preseason game when Bernie was still working for them. That guy would bring the truth, and I guess that's part of the reason they fired him. lol. I would go out of my way to watch Browns preseason games just to hear what Bernie would say about the backup quarterbacks.

I don't know why I kept listening, but there's a lot of blatant misinformation in their broadcast. I mean, its an AM talk show, so I guess it's not really a big deal. They are trying to play to their homers and get ratings. But to say the Broncos didn't have any scratches and played all of our starters? That the Broncos gameplanned like a real game? Denver not a sports town? LOL.

That's why I miss Bob Martin and Larry Zimmer. When they called the games, if the Broncos were stinking the place up, they said so. :2cents:

lol After Denver won the preseason game, these guys put in the title of the podcast "why the Broncos are losers" ?

These guys forgot how to lose with class ..... they apparently also forgot how to win

These 2 on the podcast are claiming Seattle left 11 players at home .... and the broncos had Zero scratches....

But I don't remember seeing Von Miller .... I don't remember seeing Monte Ball

                          Whatever makes them feel better.

They also are criticizing the Broncos for 'gameplanning' this game. Dunno if they did or not. But isn't Seattle the team that is known for preseason game planning?

I wouldn't get too worked up about the Seattle Media and fans. Its their job to get their fans riled up and also have a strong opinion about something. Its just the way this all works.
