I read this and realized this post was based on sheer ignorance. Did you know we Boston fans felt our season was over when Bledsoe went down and had no confidence in this skinny, lame looking no name we called Brady? Even when he started winning games we wished his tenure in NE was only temporary and Bledsoe would return. Sheer ignorance indeed.

The only fans worse at the moment that equally rival them are Eagles fans. I was working in Philadelphia this week, and they ARE truly convinced Mark Sanchez is taking them to Arizona LOL!!!

NE is going to crush Indy, they are running the table, and will be hosting the AFC at home and will be wiping the floor with us again because the weak link on our team is Manning.

Most of this is coming from the sports media.

I think they'll win too . Guys don't sleep on the Colts especially their defense at home . I'm a little worried about them if Denver has to travel to Lucas Oil in the postseason. Should be an interesting game nonetheless.

I do like Indy's chances. Even if they get behind, Luck and his mates are gamers, and will play to the very end.

You've been around for way too long to put so much stock into one game. We're not on the team. Trying to take it one game at a time and temper our expectations isn't going to make the Denver Broncos play better. If you've watched enough football from this year then you'll see that our Broncos are the best team in the NFL and they are the only ones that can stop them, just like in 2012.

We're on the official Denver Broncos forums so I'm sure you're not surprised to get this type of response, but I don't consider myself a homer. It's just the truth, and I feel pretty good about my ability to have a pulse on our team:

Note that I don't toss darts at the board endlessly and only say when I'm right, these are pretty much the times when I actually had a gut feel about our team over the past few years: I knew we'd have a GREAT chance against the Steelers with Tebow at QB because of all of their injuries. Didn't expect to get past the Patriots after that. I predicted that we'd lose in the Super Bowl back in March of 2013, almost a full year earlier. I could tell our defense was playing their best game in years against the Seahawks before the safety against the Seahawks in the regular season this year. My friend asked me if I thought we really had a chance to drive 80-yards with only a minute left against Seattle and I told him that it was the perfect situation: Manning wouldn't be able to overthink it; he had to go go go and would get back to doing what he does. I anticipated that big game for Emmanuel Sanders against the Chargers, though not THAT big hahah It anticipated Edelman having a big game against us though again not THAT big:

I also anticipated Julius Thomas to have a good game, too, though. 33-yards and a TD isn't too bad but he didn't exactly go nuts. Aaaanyway,

I've also made a point to watch lots of other games this year. They didn't just have an unlucky game against the Dolphins. The Pats were outplayed. I picked the Raiders to cover in New England BEFORE everybody went into a hyper-panic... but then when people were saying they were done and Brady was washed up, I was watching the games thinking "What are they talking about? He just isn't getting any protection" and "New England always starts slow but they are coached up by the end of the season". Now they're 6-2 and everybody forgot they still have weaknesses. People constantly over-react one way or another. One week does not make a season.

They're a good team. They are always a good team, and they'll continue to improve as the season goes on. But now they're a bit overrated and I fully expect them to lose 2-3 more games. The Lions are VERY good, though you always have to worry about Stafford and Caldwell, and the group as a whole on the road. Dolphins are good, too, and the Patriots play the Packers, Chargers and Colts away from home.

Broncos shouldn't lose more than one, either against the Dolphins, at Chargers or at Chiefs.

We'll have home-field advantage and all will be right with the world. We'll win the Super Bowl this year, unless we collapse again. I'm still upset about 2012. That defense, man. We made the playoffs with a QB that completed two passes in a single game and then replaced him with Peyton Manning.

I disagree. I don't think Indy will be able to hang with the Patriots. I think the Patriots drop 1 more game and it will either be to the Packers in Green Bay (most likely) or to the Lions at home. That means we must run the table to get the #1 seed, which I don't think we'll do. But that's ok, we need to beat the Patriots in Foxborough and then finish up with a Super Bowl win in Glendale.

why are you such a buzz kill? Obviously no one in the league is "due" anything. Its called "fan speak", not to be taken literally.
