  • Cleveland Browns waive Ben Tate

The Cleveland Browns have found a fix for their three-headed backfield problem.

The team on Tuesday waived veteran running back Ben Tate after just 10 games with the organization.

It's a vote of confidence for rookies Terrance West and Isaiah Crowell, who will carry the load down the stretch for the 6-4 Browns.

Around the NFL will have more on this development soon.

    I support Kaepernick 100%

While I agree with the move, I like both West & Crowell more, I'm still kinda surprised by the move. Will Pittsburgh cut Blount next? Man that would be a good pick up for us.

Apparently there is some tension in Pitt with Blount, he walked off the field last night before the game even ended. I'd much rather have Blount than Tate that's for sure!

Yep, Tate is slow. I hope the Steelers do cut blount. Sign him & Incognito. That'd be cool with me.

I know those two aren't the "team guys" most teams would like to have but at this point you just have to look at it and say "It can't get any worse" ... we just got beat up by the 3-6 Rams!!!

Couldn't hurt. I'm thinking if we sign Richie, why not just put Franklin back at RT & plug Louis and Richie in at G's and whoever's best for center? That couldn't hurt either?

You got that right. Tate's been outplayed by Crowell and West all season, and he comes out and complains because his snaps are limited. The game after his complaining, they put him in and he loses eight yards instantly. Adios.

I think everybody knows Blount has some baggage, and makes some strange decisions when he's running the ball, but when he's on...

No surprise there. He was overrated and outplayed by West and Crowell.
The Browns are gone; I'm not a fan of the Impostors

The real Browns are in Baltimore, see?
