If it is Lymphoma there is a good chance he can beat it and be back maybe even next season. There are a lot of different types of Lymphoma but there are some very effective chemotherapy treatments nowadays ... maybe the biggest side effect is dealing with fatigue, it is also very hard on organs like liver and kidneys. I'm sure Berry is in very good shape and that will help him greatly with dealing with side effects.
Hope things work out well and he gets well soon.
