So we root for Brock to start and get benched with Savage coming in to steal the victory away from the Raiders.

Oh c'mom, how can you say that, if the Broncos played in the AFC South they would likely be in the playoffs right, heck they might even have a shot at the number 1 seed.

If Houston was in our division with our schedule they would be fighting for a top 10 pick.

Honestly I think Siemian has a better shot at getting us to a playoff than Brock does.

In fact the more I type this the more I realize Brock has 0 shot at starting a playoff game. Because Savage is the starter now.

Elway is probably like sigh of relief. He did offer Brock 16 million per. I don't know what Brock would've became in Denver, but I do think it would've been better than what he's done in Houston.

I agree with this statement, but that is a separate point altogether right? I just don't see the need to tell this story any different than it went down. We wanted Brock, and we may have matched the Texans offer given the chance. It's just the NFL world the Broncos live in, QB craze is at all an all time high and will continue to go up. I'm glad we dodged that bullet but it's not because we wanted to.

If Brock wanted to be a Bronco he would be a Bronco, and it is likely he would have a comparable contract here.
