Agreed, but at least it's not like it was in the mid 80's until 98 as far as super bowl victories.

The Pats D are like the Texans, massively inflated stats due to a really weak schedule.

To get to the SB you either need an elite D, or a top level QB. This year all 4 have top level QB's..... that's why I predicted last week that Dallas and KC would crash out, you can't get by without one or the other.

I still believe a top level D will prevail more often then not, but like we found out you need SOME offense, and SOME balance.

Dak had a 103.3 rating compared to Rodgers 96.6.

While I agree the eye test says Rodgers outplayed Dak you still can't put that loss on Dak

Dak played a good game, my point was in general you need a top QB or elite D.

Dak as a rookie played well and was very solid this season, but he's far from 'top level' standard. Without looking at the stats I would guess they are similar to Alex Smiths this season

Which is why I heard on Boston sports media today that they are worried. They know they've had a really easy schedule.
            Adopted Bronco: DeMarcus Ware

Atlanta does it to Green Bay then I'll be impressed. Until then I'm not buying it
Aaron Rodgers might be difficult to stop

Green Bay will also have a hard time slowing down Atlanta.

Yea I think this is one of the weakest NE teams under Brady. The D is solid but nothing special, no Gronk, and the offense as a whole is efficient but not GB/PITT/ATL scary. The problem is they have had a cakewalk all season. Houston stayed in the game a long time last week but their pathetic offense and the EZ drop by Fuller was too much for them to overcome.

I really fancy Pittsburgh this week.

I can't see GB stopping Atlanta at all, especially if that Safety is out (can't remember who went down last week). Ryan and JJ are going to carve them up.

Rodgers will score as well but I just trust Atlanta to get more stops/TO's. For a start they are at home, they are more healthy on D, and GB will be without Nelson and Adams is banged up.

                    Agree!

I'm enjoying watching Rodgers - still can't believe our defense held him to 76 yards last year.

Actually Dak was rated in the top 10 in the league and threw the fewest interceptions to anyone but Brady who played 4 less games. Daks numbers were very very un rookie like and far superior to Alex smith.

But like I said previously eye test is Rodgers was on a different level Sunday.

If you look at the stats Atlanta actually had their worst D performances at home.

Yep Dak had a very solid year, and didn't turn it over much. He is still a longs ways from the likes of Rodgers who threw up 40 TD's this season compared to Dak's 23.

It's not a knock on Dak, but obviously he is not on the level of the other QB's left in the playoffs and that was my only point. Dallas didn't have an elite QB or D

I'm not saying their D is great but it's well known that they have gotten their players back on D for the playoffs (and it showed last week against Seattle) whereas GB have started to lose too many starters

I don't believe Morgan Burnett has been ruled out yet.

From my perspective my bigger concern is Jordy is still considered a long shot to return and now they are saying Davante Adams likely won't practice all week.

What worries me is Julio and that toe. You could tell it was bothering against the hawks. He's been knicked up a lot this year.
