  • Would like some neutral opinions on something

Been talking on my Dolphins boards about the Matt Moore fumble in the first half of the Dolphins' playoff loss to Pittsburgh.

We all agree a missed assignment let the defender through.

However, I think Moore should have taken the sack and it his fault for fumbling the ball because he saw the defender coming and he could have protected the ball.

Most people on the boards disagree.

    What do you think?

I think Matt Moore should've fumbled a little more during the regular season so the Broncos could be in the playoffs instead.

He was trying to make a play. I give him credit doing a solid job backing up Tannehill.

          Seriously?

The Broncos have made the playoffs in 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015

They have been to two Super Bowls and won one of them.

The Dolphins had not been to the playoffs since 2008

Let someone else have a chance.

          LOL

Anyway, my view is that Moore was stupid to try to make a play there. He should have taken the sack.

Also, what was dumb was not having anybody in the backfield on that play, so the Steelers knew it was going to be a pass.

BTW, the Broncos did plenty to help Miami make the playoffs, by choking away the first game against the Chiefs.

Hey, it was the Dolphins who got you homefield last year, remember?

Don't come on a Broncos message board with the question and then act surprised when we don't feel sorry for you.

I was jesting with you it's hard to tell that when typing through a keyboard. Just like the post about wanting Moore to fumble more was in jest.

If you really think about it actually, the Broncos may have come less than half a second of making the playoffs. That's the difference between Rex Ryan not getting the timeout in the Bills game and getting it. I do not think Franks could have kicked two in row from 55 yards out.

                Exactly. We're spoiled fans.

On the topic: I did not watch the play you're talking about. The Broncos being out of the playoffs pretty much meant "au revoir, NFL" to me.
