    Sorry to see you go TJ, but don't act like you were slighted by not being notified before hand. The NFL has always operated like this and always will (unless the NFLPA forces owners to give players advance notice, like that will ever happen). It's tough for me to side with an employee making a 7 figure salary complaining about moving to another 7 figure salary job

      Being an employer myself, letting an employee go isn't always smooth. Giving more notice in this case would have compromised trade value, and at least my experience has been once you've decided to part ways, its best to do it right away. The idea that Ward would be happier about it if he had more advance notice isn't likely true. Now, how they handled the conversation when it happened? Who knows? Obviously, Ward is unhappy about it, but we don't really know how it went down. In the big picture, the Broncos moved on to a younger player, and Ward was unemployed for a few minutes. More of a hurt ego than anything.
