What's your prediction on who wins the season opener? I have Pats by 1 touchdown or more. Vegas odds last time I checked. And last time I checked, they were right about Siemian being the starter. Pats 30, Chiefs 20

I think NE wins the game, but KC has a great defense and good ST play.

The last time these teams played in the regular season was back on 9/29/14 and the Chefs won 41-14 at Arrowhead stadium. Interestingly they have only played once in the postseason, last year at NE and NE won 27-20 as expected. KC leads their series 17-14 and they have had 3 ties.

I would like a tie and with the new OT rules this season (only 10 minutes long) the chance for a tie are greater but since this is the first game of the season I think the odds are way against that happening sooo ... the home team wins a close one 24-20 NE. because I really dislike the Pats*.

Bit of a trap game. Pats don't really need to care about regular season games lol. They are focused on oiling the machine for the playoffs. That said, the Chiefs suck and the Pats don't lose at home

Generally I hate the Pats more than the Chiefs. For the sake of the division and humbling the Chefs, go Pats

NFL Opener - KC @ NE Discussion

So, its official. The 2017 NFL Regular season begins in ~1 hour. Whos gonna win? By how much?
I think it'll be a close game, and KC makes a mistake late and NE takes advantage and steals a win. Neither team looking too sharp throughout.
21-17 NE wins.

Pick your poison kinda night. Best case scenario is they TIE

I hope its a entertaining game, at the least.

I had a sense of peace come over me today..... about 30m ago. I was thinking about how old Brady is getting. It wont be long before his run is done. I'm ready for that day and it's getting here sooner and sooner.

All due respect - and I'm not suggesting his performance is showing any signs of degradation - but it'll be interesting to see just how it all comes to a close for him. Age catches up with everyone eventually

I think the chiefs will keep it interesting at least. 150 yards rushing along with maybe one or 2 touchdowns.
