Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

Dolphins suspend Timmons (aquire LB Anthony from Saints in trade)
They are the team to beat this year. Strong on all three phases. The only thing that I think will defeat them is a strong running game, which I think we have. Their run defense is more or less the same as it was last year, but where we'll have difficulty with them is in the red zone. Their defense has shown to hold elite QBs to FGs which is allowing them to maintain the lead throughout games. Realistically, we will be lucky to go 1-1 with them this year.
I will be watching our run game against there's then. Makes enough sense, I don't know how'd you attack that defense. It's pretty stout.
I would definitely considering a split with them a win for us... they are just so fast.
It's really, really unfortunate that Christian was drafted there. He's being absolutely wasted in that offense.
Despite not being very productive, it's interesting... it seems like teams are still keying off of him. They showed a highlight of the Panthers/Pats game last night and 4 defenders keyed off Christian. He's obviously commanding respect, again, despite being unproductive.
I would loved to have had Christian drafted here at the top of the 2nd, but if I'm being totally honest... it would have been awesome to see him go to the Pats, as he probably would be in the O-ROTY conversation if he had.
For his sake, I hope he gets traded out of Carolina sooner rather than later.
As a fan of the sport, I want to send prayers and well wishes to Zach Miller of the Bears as they’re fighting to save his leg after that gruesome injury he sustained yesterday.
Wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin is headed to Buffalo.
The Panthers have traded the former 2014 first-round pick to the Bills in exchange for a 2018 third-rounder and a seventh-rounder, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported, per a source informed.
ESPN was first to report it.
Around The NFL will have more on this story shortly.
Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon has finally been reinstated, nearly three years after he last played in an NFL regular-season game. The league announced today that Gordon is reinstated on a conditional basis and can attend team meetings effective immediately. He’ll be eligible to start practicing with the team on November 20 and eligible to be [more]
Eligible to practice on November 20th. Not that it will help The Browns too much this season.
don't send him to a team that resides in a recreational marijuana state, that dude won't make it a month
Why is that? He can’t make it for any length of time in a state where it isn’t legal. It’s illegal in Ohio, yet he hasn’t played in what, 3 years because of it?
In a devastating piece of news for the Houston Texans and the NFL as a whole, the league’s brightest young star has apparently suffered a season-ending knee injury at practice today. The Texans fear Deshaun Watson suffered a torn ACL and are waiting on an MRI to confirm the diagnosis, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.Watson [more]
All reports say torn ACL, just waiting on MRI to confirm. Non-contact is usually pretty bad.
Feel sorry for him. He was lighting it up this year, hate too say this but maybe this is going to hurt Houston, and all of the AFC teams can now get in the PO with something like a 9-7 record with all the Parity coming down in the AFC conference. We just need to win this week, Brooke lobster just win this one baby.
