  • NFL Network Suspends Heath Evans, Marshal Faulk & Ike Taylor

So I was reading up on my LinkedIn feed today and came across the following link:

NFL Network suspends Hall of Famer
The NFL Network has suspended three analysts — all of whom are former NFL players, and one of whom is a Hall of Famer — following allegations of sexual harassment, The New York Times reports. Marshall Faulk, Heath Evans and Ike Taylor were accused harassment and assault by former NFL Network employee Jami Cantor, who had filed a previous suit in October over alleged age and sex discrimination, among other complaints. She amended the suit on Monday to include specific allegations against the analysts. She also brought charges against Eric Weinberger, a former executive producer at the National Football League’s TV network who is now president of sports commentator Bill Simmons’s media group (Bloomberg). "While men across politics, media, entertainment and the technology industry have been fired over allegations of sexual harassment, there have been few recent high-profile cases in the sports world," Bloomberg notes.

I also confirmed the story by looking at the following link on the NY Times:

Faulk, Heath Evans and Ike Taylor were accused of sexual harassment, and Faulk of assault, in a lawsuit filed by a former wardrobe stylist for the company.

Thought it also included Donovan McNabb and Warren Sapps in addition to those mentioned.
          Adopted Bronco: DeMarcus Ware

McNabb is part of it, I don’t know about Sapp.

It does but maybe they aren't as much as a focus as they've each had their own issues that caused them to lose their jobs already in 2013 and 2015.

Faulk and others are currently on-air talent or currently employmed. Not that it should matter, but the others are mentioned almost as a post script to the story.

The lawsuit also said that Cantor had been harassed by the former N.F.L. players and ex-NFL Network analysts Donovan McNabb and Warren Sapp, as well as by the former network employee Marc Watts. Sapp was fired from the network in 2015 after being arrested for assault and soliciting prostitution. McNabb left the network in 2013, but later lost a job with Fox Sports after pleading guilty to drunken driving in November 2015.

I believe Sapp was let go in 2015. McNabb left the network in 2013 but yes you're correct these players were all named.
(Beside their names I put what they are accused of)

                  - Sapp- no specifics listed in what I read but he is named
                  - McNabb- sent an innapropriate text
                  - Evans- Groped her
                  - Taylor- sent this woman pictures and video of him masturbating in the shower
                  - Faulk- groped her and made inappropriate comments and questions about her sex life and demanded oral sex if I am reading the articles correctly.
                  - Eric Davis - could not find details

Also for those that are really interested the documents in the case appear to be available here:

On 10/06/2017 JAMI L CANTOR filed a Labor - Wrongful Termination court case against NFL ENTERPRISES LP in Los Angeles County Superior Courts. Court records for this case are available from Stanley Mosk Courthouse.

It is too early for me to pretend to know, though once these things happen, other blocks seem to fall. Further, this year may be the tip of the iceberg for such accusations, in many walks of life. So much so that I would not doubt that some folks are settling such cases outside the public eye.

I believe Time Magazine made a bigger statement then some may think, in choosing their Person Of The Year. I think they were honouring the females we know about....but are also laying the foundation for others to come forward.

Well, if men would stop doing this crap then they wouldn't have to worry about it. Problem solved.

It's almost like playing 'the person below me game' but with harassment charges.
