I keep on seeing players that where here in Denver have success on otherNFL rosters. Ben Garland played well last night.

The questions the Broncos should be asking themselves...
What are successful former Broncos being asked to do compared to what we asked them to do?
If it is different, why did we think that player could do well in the different things we asked then to do? Going forward how can we change our scouting process?
If it is the same, what was our coaching and player development doing?
The RG+Center got abused by maybe the best DT in football a few times but from what I saw Garland was playing pretty good.Last edited by Hadez; 01-07-2018, 09:43 AM.Skill + Effort = Talent. Talent + Effort = Achievement. A. Duckworth - Grit.

Garland was just meant to be a feel-good story, but he's managed to solidify himself with the Falcons. Good for him, because he was never going to get a chance to start for the Broncos with the likes of Max Garcia and Michael Schofield constantly getting infinite chances around that peroid of time.

Apparently Sambrailo is good enough to be Falcons backup LT
Not good enough to be on a team that missed the playoffs in 2016 and 5th worst team in NFL in 2017 but good enough to be backup LT on the Super Bowl team in 2016 which is a playoff winning team in 2017.Skill + Effort = Talent. Talent + Effort = Achievement. A. Duckworth - Grit.

Garland is definitely playing well.
Like mentioned above maybe it was the lack of opportunities he was given while in DenverSkill + Effort = Talent. Talent + Effort = Achievement. A. Duckworth - Grit.

They really need to figure out what they're doing with Garcia/Barbre. Play one and be done with it. Can McGovern play? Still have Watson for RT. Do you draft someone to replace him or give him another chance? A lot depends on what is done with the QB situation. This unit clearly needs to be addressed.Karl Mecklenburg 77 should be in the HOF!!

Denver currently has eleven O-Linemen under contract for 2018; thirteen if they re-sign Billy Turner and Allen Barbre. Denver needs to add a couple of starting caliber O-Linemen either through free agency or the draft."Stultum est timere quod vitare non potes." ~ Publilius Syrus
