Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

That's how the entire league is now unfortunately.
That's true to an extent.
Up until this year, for the previous 6 years before, the Broncos had been one of the most successful teams. So I think teams were digging through our trash pile a bit more than other team's

Agreed. When your team is successful, your players get more attention.
I believe many on these boards are getting hung up on specific names which have been tossed around as examples who are doing well elsewhere. Instead I like the OP have some similar questions. WHY can't we develop lineman here? Why is that culture not being fostered? Why are guys who looked awful and non-NFL caliber able to go to other teams and play well enough to earn a backup role and play well on game day?

All excellent questions. Sambrailo, Schofield, Ben Garland, Chris Clark are all o-lineman off the top of head that have started games for other teams this year.
When you look at building an o-line, you have 2 options if you want a good one, either spend a lot of high picks on o-lineman (Cowboys) and have patience, or spend a lot of money of the top FA's (Raiders).
We haven't done either, Bolles is the first time we used a 1st on an o-lineman since Clady. Plus we haven't had much patience with the o-lineman we have drafted, people are already calling Bolles a bust. On the opposite we haven't gone after the top FAs, instead we've picked up the bargain guys, and wonder why they don't workout.

After Super Bowl XLVIII Zane Beadles left in free agency, so a Left Guard was needed. Someone decided that the thing to do was to move Orlando Franklin from RT to LG and put Chris Clark at RT. IDK who made that call, but I doubt if it was Dave Magazu. That was the beginning of the revolving door at RT.

We need to cut everyone except Bolles, Leary, Paradis, McGovern, and that Cyrus kid, period. The rest of them are hot trash. We need to sign at least 1 veteran RT and 1 vet Guard, then draft at least 2 interior lineman and another RT. It’s really that simple.

Before TC? Were you planning on 1st, 2nd, 3rd team for preseason practice?

Bolles, Leary, Paradis, McGovern and a yet to be named new starter at RT is how it should look next season. Players on the level of Garcia, Watson and Barbre would be usable backups.

Barbre would need to be re-signed. He will be 34 by TC.

Of my enough I don't disagree with him. I think we might be better off if we relied on UDFA players and late round picks this season as more of our depth. I suppose if be OK if one of the guys came back as depth like Garcia but he'd need to earn his 2nd string job....properly. what will be interesting is to see if Watson moves inside vs McGovern.

See I disagree with Watson. He showed he had real power. I think he's just like Franklin...better suited at Guard. Also given mobility could alsi be used for so.e more creative downfield blocks.
