Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

All week I wore my Eagles gear but kept saying they were going to lose. Told all my family back in Philly the same thing.....I tried to work the reverse jinx, just praying the reverse jinx would kick in. Eagles fans have been beat down for so long. I am so elated. Wish my dad was alive to see this. They made him proud. Fly Eagles Fly.
I believe you and I disagreed a few weeks ago about the Pats winning the Super Bowl by blow out, part of what I was saying was wishful thinking, but I'm glad this time it turned out to be right.
Why would you throw it away instead of just going down to run the clock?
I said why in my first post...because there was 2:03 left on the clock and the clock was going to stop at the 2 minute warning whether it was a run or pass, assuming the pass play took more than 3 seconds. But going down without losing yardage would have been another option.
Shame Wentz couldn't have been the QB of record but - maybe he wouldn't have won it (I think he would have played just as well)
They kicked our ass - as well as a lot of other teams ......... Really nice team
After that game I thought the Eagles were special, after Wentz got hurt I figured it would be a wasted year for the group, but Foles was nails in the playoffs.
This team is awesome. Love the praise... I guess good did overcome evil tonight. Just kidding. About that second part.. don't want to offend anyone. Hehe

Foles and Wentz are pretty similar in terms of physical abilities though. That was the biggest reason I thought the Eagles would pull off the upset

He may not be QB of record but from what I saw and read Wentz was essentially a QB coach for Foles after he got hurt. Helping Foles and helping offensive coaches create game plans. May not get the same recolonization nation wide but that was pretty awesome when I saw and read about it.
