Without a doubt. What a great story.

Yes they will, and Foles deserves to be able to start somewhere. Will be interesting to see what the FO does.

      • I really enjoyed watching Philly win. What a great group and so respectful and gracious in how they took the win.

With all the penalties going in favor of NE, I was convinced the game was rigged for NE.

He proved he's clutch. His stock just went way up.

            • Amazing finish! And for those of us "non Pats" types, it was even sweeter.

As for The Eagles.....my goodness, their best QB was on the bench, and is just beginning to rev his engine. Wonderful story though, with Foles. He was a big factor in the playoffs, including this fabulous finish! And that 4th down TD pass to Foles was so cool!

Back to The Pats.....I think the road is nearing its end for this team....a great one at that. Everyone says Belichick will be fine without Patricia and McDaniels, but when you put that together with the fact that Brady will not fool father time for much longer, and Gronk is even hinting that he may not play for long (given all the injuries), and the fact that teams like The Jaguars and others will be hunting them down in The AFC....I say the journey may be close to end. And when they subside, whenever that may be, I will not miss them. I will though for teams with class. The Eagles alone have much more. Think Chris Long for one, Foles for another. Many, many more.

Yeah. I wouldn't mind seeing that guy in orange and blue. Who cares if he runs RPOs? He just won the first SB for the Eagles.

                • Well, I ended up rooting for the Eagles and had plenty of opportunities to yell at them for trying to lose.

I thought they were going to lose for sure when they lost eight yards on third down with that stupid play call.

I’m glad the offense showed up for the Eagles, because the defense took most of the second half off.

                  • I have a technical question...are folks still voting in the attached poll? Appears to be more Eagles votes since earlier today.

Hard to imagine a better day than the one Nick Foles had. Wins the super bowl as a starting QB, wins the MVP and locks up a nice paycheck going forward. He knows the deal, it's Wentz' team and I don't think he'll be bitter at all about any of this--he just beat the Patriots!

Just an early meaningless prediction. But, I think next season is the year they neither 1. Get a bye and 2. Make it to the afc championship game.

I read about that, too. Wentz is a classy guy.

                                Congrats, Eagles!
