Lets review the draft:
Baker Mayfield (#1 Pick) - Cleveland Browns
Sam Darnold (#3) - New York Jets
John Allen (#7) - Buffalo Bills
Josh Rosen (#10) - Arizona Cardinals
Lamar Jackson (#32) - Baltimore Ravens
I see this as a pretty solid QB draft, but it is very hard to say if they will see starter action this coming season. Having said that, if they are not starters, failure to produce by the QBs on their respective teams could get them all involved in the game during this, their rookie season.
And I can be totally honest, I am not sure which one gets the first chance. Then again, first chance might not necessarily guarantee them the job for the entire season. Injuries on the other hand could help one or more of these guys, sooner than later. In fact, I would not be surprised to see Lamar Jackson, the #32 pick, make an impact, maybe the biggest. One just never knows how starters will perform, and when injury strikes.
So I still need to think a bit, before I make my guess....but here's a prediction that seems possible: that each one of these drafted players will be a starter at some point in their career. Not saying they will all be Hall of Famers, but that they will all start some games. In that regard, I think Darnold will be the best of the bunch, and Mayfield might be not far behind.
