And to be fair, maybe the Eagles are just that bad on defense

Wentz just came back with a deep bomb for a TD.

Better to run it now and get a game rep than to run it down by 6 in a critical moment in a big game for the first time

I feel like I'm in the minority, but I'm glad Cleveland is laying another egg to start a season. I hate unjustified arrogance, and I think it will do Mayfield some good to get a healthy dose of humble pie. His smack talk all offseason got old.

If it's on film every team for the next 15 games will be prepared for it. There's no excuse for running the fake punt now.

The problem forCleveland is they kept the wrong coach. Kitchens was a Running Back Coach this time last year, and now he's leading a group of combustible personalities and he's all over the media with his tough guy quotes. They played hard for Gregg Williams last year, not Freddie Kitchens.

This will be a poorly coached team this year, hopefully next year they bring in someone experienced and this team will be what everyone thought they would be this year.

And on the other side it’ll help the coverage team as the return will read their keys a little longer looking for the fake.

I neutrally like Baker Mayfield ........ and I agree there is too much arrogance and mouthiness. And...... to my own surprise I'm enjoying Cleveland struggling as well.

As for Cleveland 19 pass attempts and only 8 rushes. That isn’t the team they need to be. Chubb was a monster last year and they have Hunt coming back later in the season. They need to ride Chubb and set up the playaction off of that.

I’ve only watched a couple of highlights from Ravens-Dolphins. From those plays it looks like the Dolphins defense giving little effort. Players look demotivated from the fire sale.

Not really. NFL punt rules are such that it will make no difference. The o-line/long snapper can't leave till after the punt, every PR d-line does one of two things, rush the punt or rush to hold up. Now teams will just rush to hold up, and send players to pickup the wings/PP and hold them up, works to stop a fake and helps to create the separation a return team wants.

I love a good fake punt, but running one up big is both stupid and classless.
