    Well now....that's a whole other situation! Maybe he gets to leave on a high note! I can't say I have watched him enough to know better, but when I re-watched a part of the game, he looked decent except for a one sack and a penalty. Probably an average lineman, or so. Commendable.

    I might not go with you 100%, as in he retires, but I can see him only playing another year or two. I mean, you win The SB, you made some good money, and you have a great career ahead....as long as you are relatively healthy. Why risk it?

    I really wouldn't be shocked if he retires at this point. He's soon to be 29 years old, he's played 7 years in the NFL and now won a Super Bowl. If he's going to follow through with being a surgeon he's going to need to get working on his residency sooner rather than later. Surgeons also need good hands, and a lineman's hands get beat up a lot.

    Congratz Laurent Duvernay-Tardif - SB Champ!!!

    I am showing my national bias, but congratz Laurent Duvernay-Tardif, starting Guard for KC, who grew up in Montreal….and just happens to be the only Medical Doctor to play in The NFL. Try juggling that load!

    He is a darn good player, and does his part to keep Mahomes upright, among other things.
