Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

I like this, seems like every year there is a team that has a good record that gets snubbed because of the division system. At the very least it gives Denver a better shot at getting back to the playoffs
I don’t see how this won’t get added. More players get postseason pay, players on their bye would be getting paid now, and the nfl gets more revenue from the extra games.
The only drawback is now it’ll be more common to see .500 and sub .500 teams make it. Although personally I don’t think that’s always a bad thing.
My Opinion isn’t determined by what the Popular Opinion is. Sometimes I agree with the Majority, Sometimes I Don’t. If My Opinion is Different than Yours, I have to Ask One Question:
You Mad Bro?
I am unsure how the playoffs would work with an odd number of teams from each conference.
7 teams on each side. Only 1 gets the bye, leaving 6 playoff teams playing 3 games on weekend one. That would leave 1 bye and 3 winners to carry on, which would work.
I am a bit old school, and am fine with the current playoffs. But sure, as long as they do not expand further, and only 1 bye team, I'm cool. My belief is that less than 1/2 the teams should make the playoffs, so 14 of 32 works.
However....not into 17 regular season games. The home and away part alone is not wise. And they claim they are big on safety, but want to add games. As I mentioned earlier, The NFL is really the Nice (BIG) Revenue League.
