I could be wrong, but I don't think he was the full time starter, I believe it was Jay Schroeder. I think Schroeder got injured in the divisonal game, Williams started against the Vikings in the NFC Championship game (17-10?), then started the Superbowl, although Schroeder was fit by then.Originally posted by Fat Joe

Yea he wasnt the starter the whole year, but I know he did start the superbowl. I was jsut curious as to when, because I got in an argument with a friend who said no starting black QB has ever won a superbowl, and I said Doug Williams started in the superbowl, thus making him a starter for that game and winning starter/black QB.Comment
