  • What in the World were the Steeler thinking???

Why did they release Plaxico Burress??? In NY he has a young QB throwing to him and he is still making big play after big play.
He has been playing HUGE so far.

    stats---Catches-Yds--TD
    Burress-15-------192-2

Plus 9 catches for 174 yds and 2TDs in the game today.

He has the body style to be prductive, Tall and fast. I wonder why they didnt try to keep him this year.

They felt that Hines Ward is the better reciever.

So rather than paying to keep both they chose just to keep Ward.
The Browns are gone; I'm not a fan of the Impostors

The real Browns are in Baltimore, see?

There is no doubt that Plaxico is worth the money (so far), and he is much better as a #1 option. But as Dawgfan pointed out, I would take Ward over Burress any day of the week.

They have enough money, keep both instead of adding 3rd and 4th stringers to your Def that would start on other NFL teams

            reason

well I remember cowher saying that plaxico was undermining the coaching staff by getting with big ben and coming up their own plays. The coaching staff caught wind of it and thought that burress was negatively effecting big ben

Especially when you consider that he sat out the entire first quarter in one of those games because Coughlin is a nazi.

and to anyone who might be offened, no i am not calling Coughlin a facist german...

It's a good thing Jay Cutler was a proven winner in college. Oh wait, nevermind.
