    Chiefs | Allen Named AFC Defensive Player of the Week

    Kansas City Chiefs DE Jared Allen was named the AFC Defensive Player of the Week for Week 7. Allen recorded three sacks, forced and recovered two fumbles, and registered six tackles in a 28-21 victory over the Washington Redskins Sunday, Oct. 16.

    It's a good thing Jay Cutler was a proven winner in college. Oh wait, nevermind.

    this is great....he deserves it...I told my hubby after that game that those honors should go to him...glad to see that they are....the next AM...KY-97 called him the one man wrecking crew....outstanding performance...Knight did an outstanding job as well.......

      The best part was Allen was getting double teamed and was going up against pro-bowl OT's and still got to the QB.

        yea I saw on that 1 play when he just pushed that one player out of his way like it was nothing....it was cool....Jared is a big boy....hopefully he can keep that type of playing up the rest of the season...
