Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

Am i wrong in saying that Michael Vick has been disapointing with his passing ability?? dont get me wrong, im not bashing his athletic ability. But if he does not get more accurate soon i could see the Falcons ditch him down the road
I find it strange that a guy who can throw the ball the length of the field, still cant hit a barn door at 10 yards.
"On a given day, a given circumstance, you think you have a limit. And you then go for this limit and you touch this limit, and you think, 'Okay, this is the limit'. And so you touch this limit, something happens and you suddenly can go a little bit further. With your mind power, your determination, your instinct, and the experience as well, you can fly very high."

That's easy for you to say, with Brees starting and Rivers on the bench . . .
BTW, welcome to the boards!

Thanks! Glad to be here. Despite my allegiance to the Chargers, I enjoy reading through your message board. There are some insightful topics here and some good discussions, which I hope to add to in the future!
hes the most fun guy to watch in nfl, if they keep winning games like this they will run 100% or all the time, who needs passing when u have vick. Falcons are 32-11 with him starting, he makes the other team nervous when he's in the field. Thats makes it easy for dunn and duckett to chunk yards. Welcome to michael vick experience, who need a passing qb when u have a superman out there.

Because Michael Vicks running game comes at a price. If you haven't noticed he wears the thinest padding possible to allow him to keep his speed, that means one good shot anywhere on him is going to break something. He's already had the broken leg because of his tendancy to run around. I can assure you his career wont be nearly as long as the league average, and he'll be lucky if he can walk without crutches when he retires.

Plus, he's pretty inconsistent as a passer. Sure he can be exciting, but I'm not sure I'd want him as my franchise quarterback. I'd prefer an accurate passer who makes good, smart decisions and still wins ballgames.
