Cleveland Browns running back Reuben Droughns III was arrested for operating a vehicle while under the influence early Tuesday, according to Lt. Rick Zwayer of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
The stop happened at 1:09 a.m. after a trooper observed Droughns' 2004 Audi sedan weaving in and out of a lane and going 50 mph in a 35 mph zone. Droughns , 27, was driving north on U.S. 42 in Medina County, near the border of Strongsville.
Field sobriety tests were conducted and Droughns agreed to a Breathalyzer test, where he blew the violation limit of .08, Zwayer said.
Droughns was taken to the patrol's Medina post, where he was later released to an acquaintance.
Droughns is set to appear in Medina County Municipal Court on Nov. 4. He faces an administrative license suspension.
