I've started up a couple franchises and they are a bit to easy, so I've decided to take my madden talent and whip up the dolphins and find new plays and stuff in hopes of getting somewhere in a big madden tourney.

i'm the best madden player on this whole board. when i get my internet connection, i want to take on the world. i play all-madden with A.I. handicaps and still dominate sometimes.

Oh man, Lava when I get my PS2 this week I'll pick up another copy of Madden just to smoke your ass. I got Madden on XBOX, but I don't have broadband so I can't play online. You'll probably sub in Quentin Griffin over Portis but that's ok. I'll show you what PORTIS can do. I've been playing Madden for over 12 years and I have yet to lose to anyone other than my buddy who has a team of Pro Bowlers. He has Champ Bailey, Ed Reed, LaVar Arrington, Steve McNair, Terrell Owens, Tony Parrish, Marshall Faulk....you get the Idea. I play with my BRONCOS franchise team that is built from the draft and free agency and he still only beat me by 6.

I'll give all you franchise players a tip:Get as many top notch free agents as you can, and sign them WITHOUT giving them a signing bonus. It's gonna take alot of money to do this cap wise, but if you can snag atleast TWO superstar FAs you can trade those players to teams for #1 draft picks. And because you didn't give them a signing bonus, it won't count towards your cap and you won't be penalized. I did this and I had 3 first round picks and got Derrick Strait from Oklahoma(I have NCAA 2004 which lets you import you college guys)Chris Gamble at DB also who is INCREDIBLE, and Ben Troupe who was supposed to go in the 2nd-3rd round but I got him and he has turned into a MONSTER.

I've found that those who talk the most about Madden are often the least skilled. You just let us know when you get hooked up online. I'll be happy to take you on.

Ahhhhhh Haaaaaaa! Good one. Yep that is true. All my friends talked **** about how my BRONCOS were nothing but my boys always come through. I took the Bengals against the NFC team and won by 28 and I even had 6 INTS in the game. My friends are pretty good too, and they play online quite a bit. I can't wait to play some of you. Maybe we can start our own leagues. I got dibs on the BRONCOS!

I havent had any problem stoping the run. I wrecked Holmes in week 1 and held him to 53 yards, then sacked Gannon 7 times in the next game and forced 2 ints. in All-Pro.

in my franchise priest holmes is the only back that runs all over me, its cause i put the A.I. to the CPU's favor while in all-madden so he has all the run blocking and the RB ability in his favor but i usually still stop RB's its just priest that always seems to break a long one on me.

hey the only reason i havent gotten hooked into the internet yet is casue i have no money, as soon as i get my first paycheck, i will buy the adaptor and i will let you know. BTW i am undefeated in human to human games. i cant wait for this.

I'm using a Wal-Mart Connect sample disc right now. I used to have AOL, but it was too pricey for what they offered. What's funny is that WC costs $10 a month for unlimited use and it uses the same dial up numbers as what my AOL account did and WC is faster. I can't wait to play some of you, and like I said, we should try to set up our own league if we can get enough people. I can play with just about anyone out there and can use just about any team except the Lions for some reason.

Me and my friends and co-workers had our own 12 team tournament where we all put $20 in a pot, and it was awesome. A couple guys got outta control and had to be separated because of so called "cheap plays", but it didn't matter since I thrashed all of them and I used the BRONCOS who were (ratings wise) the second weakest team in the tourney. We usually play with stock A.I. levels since turning them all the way down results in a TON of dropped passes. My run D pisses most people off since they are used to running all over the CPU, but I usually hold opponents to at MOST 50-60 yds a game.

I'm starting to think this thread should be moved to the trash talking category.

I just completed 30 years of Franchise Ownership. It was an excellent run. With 24 Super Bowl wins and 25 Playoff appearances. For some reason the last 3 years of my Franchise went to the pooer. Oh well. I'll have to start a new one and tweak with stuff.

I think it's funny how all of you guys talk crap. "I'm undefeated against human players...blah blah blah" you probably only play two people over and over again and go back and forth. I could say the same thing about Blitz once upon a time. But me and two other guys were the only ones any of us played (mostly because no one else would play us). I only know of 3 people that can beat me at Blitz, and the funny thing is, I can beat them too. But I'm not talking like I'm the best, I know there are much more players better than me. But they probably have no lives either.

As for you Madden "gods" I wish I had internet hookup, that'd be awesome to start a league and what not, even though my team would be at the bottom because I'm sure I'm not skilled enough to beat you guys...or many others for that matter.

Well I used to play online until everybody started pulling on me got gay and boring so I just play vs the computer a bit hte ngo out and murk everybody on the block. Nobody around here can beat me except my brother and we go at it, he uses tampa I use denver. Online play is a pain in the ass alot of glitches and now madden authority has given out the set up to block field goals and a slew of nano blitzes that don't work ^_^. Jetpacking is common in the ranked people its a main part of any offense its used to move those chains quickly and for those chump vinkings users all they have to do is lob it up there. Moss will do all the work and they think they are good.

Terrell Owens can somehow out jump Kenoy Kennedy, Lenny Walls and Deltha O'neal all at the same time, and catch 60yd bombs. This p!sses me off to no end, since I can double team him and bring over another safety or corner and he still makes the play. WTF?

Also, I'm not saying I'm the best like Lava proclaims, but I've been playing Madden on all platforms for 12 years and I simply don't lose at it. I've played people in tourneys that me or my friends have set up with people I've never played against so my success isn't just limited to one group as one of you suggested.

And for Real Bronco, you "wish you had an internet connection"? Uhh, what are you using to browse this forum? When I pick up my PS2 tomorrow, I'll get it set up to play online and we will all have a blast seeing who can play and who can't. I just gotta stop playing ESPN2K4 long enough to get reaquainted with Madden.

Third: I don't have internet hookup at home and I don't have the PS2 that is capable of hooking to the internet so even if I had the internet it wouldn't do me any good...
