It is nice having a 1000 yard rusher again.

But what I dislike is the media's covering of it. It isn't something good that the Browns took 17 years to have another 1000 yard back. One thing the media fails to realize is that during the later part of the 90's the Browns were more of a passing team. I mean as a Browns fan one comes to dread hearing 'Metcalf up the Middle'. Hoard was a very good back when he played. The media is has only used Droughns as an excuse to laugh at the Browns organization. That is how this fiasco has been treated by every opposing teams fans.

Did the media do anything to Tiki Barber when he went over 1000? No. But the whole world stops just so they can laugh at the Browns.

Glad they gave him a chance and that he proved he could do the job, now if they can get some more quality players to surround him with.
