  • Best Free Agnet Pick Up

For my Money it has to be Law, he was cut by the Pats, only to lead the league in Interceptions

Best Free Agent pickup? Hardly, but he had a good season though.

The biggest steal this season would go to the Titans for signing Kyle Vanden Bosch from the Cards for league minimum. In return, they got 40 tackles with 25 assists and 12.5 sacks.

Seattle's pick up of Joe Jurevicious (sp?) was a good one too. He brought consistensy to their receiving corps.

South I have to disagree with you.

I can see why you think he's the best pick up because he lead the league in INT's..... but those stats meant nothing to the team. If they would have made the playoffs then it would have been better showing but they didn't.

But I can see where your coming from.

That's like saying the Cleveland Browns D-line players were not a good pickup if you don't make the Super Bowl. Was Kyle Vanden Bosch a bad pickup in Tennessee because his team sucked? No.

It's a good thing Jay Cutler was a proven winner in college. Oh wait, nevermind.

I'd say Brad Johnson for the Vikings. Minnesota makes the playoffs if Culpepper gets hurt a little earlier.

you must be just looking at just stats. He also gave up at least twice as many big plays as he made.

Found this on si.com as well about Law

                • You can't say Ty Law was a difference-making free-agent signing for the Jets this season, but he did tie Cincinnati's Deltha O'Neal for the league lead in interceptions with 10, which is a career high for the former Patriots cornerback. Law had three picks of Buffalo's Kelly Holcomb on Sunday, and it proves this much: Teams aren't afraid to throw in his direction any more.

And the sad thing is we could have had him.

nah, Vikes got good because of their defense. Johnson and Minnesota's offense sucked it up the entire year.

We could have, but you cant directly translate his performance to our team either. He may have performed differently in a different settin (thus explaining why he was gotten for the minimum off the cards?)

i wouldnt say he sucked. He came in and did what he needed to do to win games. He definitely did a way better job than if they had todd bouman still

I'd actually have to agree with that, he is pretty darn good.

Sorry, you can not add yourself to your own ignore list.
