  • Which Qb Would You Rather Have?

Over at the Eagles board they have a poll going to see who people around the league would prefer between Ben Roethlisberger and Donovan McNabb. It's my opinion that it is an unfair poll since it is being done on an Eagles message board. I am making this poll on several boards to see what non-bias fans feel about the choices.

    Ben Roethlisberger
loses One Championship game & advances to SB.

    Donovan McNabb
loses Three Championship games & then advances
and loses Super Bowl with 3 picks
    40
    Ben Roethlisberger
    60.00%
    24
    Donovan McNabb
    40.00%

Reid's system is more similar to Shanahan's, so as a Broncos fan, McNabb makes more sense.

They are both pretty good quarterbacks, though.

They are? Last time I saw them was when Mcnabb passed almost every play.

Donovan actually does something in the regular season.

Sorry, you can not add yourself to your own ignore list.

You don't think that McNabb is a pretty good quarterback??

He was passing almost every play because Reid didn't (couldn't) run the ball very often. Still, the offense was pretty efficient with the short passing game most of the time.

Of course I think McNabb is a great QB I just thought you meant that Andy has the same gameplan as Shanny.

Both of their schemes originate from west coast offense. Of course, Shanahan's focuses WAY more on the running game, but they both have the same basis, so I would think that McNabb would be able to step into our scheme pretty effectively.

                        McNabb

Better player - better person. You won't find pictures of McNabb getting tipsy over the internet. But you sure will with Big Ben!
The Browns are gone; I'm not a fan of the Impostors

The real Browns are in Baltimore, see?

McNabb is waaaaaay better than Big Ben no doubt about it.

                          4 straight conference championship appearances.

So I guess going 15-1 in your rookie season and leading your team to an 11-5 mark the next year isn't doing anything.....

I voted Big Ben, he's developing into a VERY good quarterback. McNabb only has a few more good seasons left IMO.
