I wouldnt mind having Volek as a back-up. He did pretty well when McNair went down this past season.WE ARE WHO THEY THOUGHT WE WERE -
I think he's too inexperience....we need some leadership.

Nothing wrong with volek, weren't some teams looking at him as a starter? I'd like having him back there.

Little mobility is a problem in this O. Our O-Line isn't built to hold blocks for ever. The QB has to be able to scramble, throw on the run, and make plays. That's why Griese didn't succeed(along with his weak arm) and why Buerlein and Kanell got roughed up.Originally posted by broncofan303

I disagree about not needing a veteran quarterback. Very few quarterbacks play the entire 16 games anymore. I think we need at least one veteran QB in case Plummer goes down. In today's NFL, you have to anticipate that the starter will miss some time during the season.Originally posted by blazeg189
