Frerotte To Sign With Rams...

[Sports Illustrated] Gus Frerotte, who lost his job as the Dolphins' starting quarterback despite winning 9 of 15 starts last season, will sign Friday with the St. Louis Rams as a backup to Marc Bulger.
Frerotte, 34, will be reunited with first-year Rams coach Scott Linehan, his offensive coordinator in Miami last season and for the two previous seasons with the Vikings.
Now with his seventh NFL team, Frerotte was released earlier this week after the Dolphins traded for Daunte Culpepper, whom Frerotte backed up in Minnesota during the 2003 and 2004 seasons.
