Redskins day will come

If you are like me you are perturbed about the Redskins every offseason because it appears they do not operate under any salary cap. However, there day is coming. Remember how the Broncos, 49ers, and Steelers had to give up draft picks (we had to give up a 3rd round picks in 2002 and 2004) for breaking league rules (http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn...2004Sep17.html or http://www.sportingnews.com/yourturn...ic.php?t=68012) I imagine and hope this will be happening to the Skins in the next few years. Let's pray that it does.

The rules we broke, IIRC, were related to funding and deferred compensation because of cash flow issues. Why would you think Washington would have similar problems?

It seems like their real problem will be that all the spending now will catch up to them later as far as not being able to sign free agents in the future or having to make cuts (assuming they can actually make them will all the guaranteed money that will be accelerated).

I guess we're reading two different things then. I see an article about the Raiders clearing cap room and bunch of bickering over nonsense from users.
