Maybe if you get some women from a rugby team. Heck some of the forwards in the US women's rugby team are massive. And the team is much better than their male counterparts(and rugby palyers don't wear pads).

          I said no.

Just imagine IF though. It would be way too annoying to watch football if a woman made it. See how the media jumped all over the Danika Patrick thing and she drives a CAR. The media would go bonkers if a woman made the NFL.

            I said "No never."

I would have nothing against it and, in fact, I would root for any woman who could make it to the NFL level. But in the end it comes to the physicality of the game, the athleticism required, and the fact that few women are actually playing football (smaller pool to recruit from). It's harsh out there and I don't even know if female refs would be a good idea (though it's bound to happen eventually).

Good luck to any women who try. Not only would I support you, I'd probably ask you out. =)

Also women are naturally built weaker you could say. Much more fragile.

I object to women refs because women are more emotional and SOME not ALL would be bias.

I think a monkey would play in the NFL before a woman would. And, of course, pigs would fly. Rivers would flow backwards. The Chiefs would have good looking Cheerleaders, and all that.

Nope, I don't see it happening. Look at the female kicker on the CU Buffs. It's just how men look at the game. Unless she can do something better than a male counterpart, I just don't see a woman getting the chance.

Katie Hnida, the kicker for CU that claimed she was raped (I never heard what came of that) played for the UNM Lobos for three years. The fans would all chant "Let the Chick Kick," and sometimes, if the game was pretty much over, the coach would send her in, everyone would go crazy, and she'd usually miss.
Apparently her shoes and uniform are in the College Football Hall of Fame because she was the first woman to ever score in Div I-A football (2003, two extra points in a blowout 1st game of the season).

After the Lobos got killed in a bowl game in 2002 (a game in which she had her only extra point attempt blocked), she got to go on several "Good Morning America" - type shows and a big deal was made about her accomplishment, but I always wondered why. I mean, I could have gone out and kicked a ball into an opponent's arms.

Anyway, women won't play pro football until one does more than just kick a few EP in games that are already over and getting one blocked in a bowl game. She'd have to be able to kick from 50+ yds on a consistant basis at the very least, maybe even farther to get NFL GM's to take a chance on her. It could happen, but it won't for a long time, if ever.

I'd say there's no chance a woman will ever play in the NFL, the same as a woman will probably never play in the NHL. In sports like that you not only have to be strong which men are known for being more then then the majority of women but they'd also have to be men who are extremely strong and powerful, I'm 6'3 175lbs and I know I'm not even close to being big enough for the NFL. So unless there's some genetically altered butch monster of a girl I can't see it. I'm not saying there shouldn't be I'm just saying I don't think it's likely but if there is one who's good enough I see no problem. What I see for women is maybe like a NWFL(national women's football league), and all women league I'd say maybe?

Meanwhile, unless her name is Nicole Bass or Chyna, no. The reason is because it is a contact sport and I don't know how many players would be comfortable with it. The other major sports I can see but football, I can't see it.

It'd be cool, but physical abilities (which apply to almost every woman) simply wont allow it.
