We were ready to face the chiefs "twice a year" in the 60's.

But hey, if thats news to you, good luck with it.

        Your gonna need it.

Furthermore, Law is a "Chief", not a "Chiefs"

Where do they find these people?

It has to do with Jake picking apart their D and Rod and Javon running rampid.

over-paying for some old crock who has seen better days, LOL

i love it when our rivals go into desperation mode - you see it with the raiders all offseason.

what is it with this division and old crocks who are past it?? one offseason its the raiders with big ted and sapp and then the chiefs with law this year.

when will you learn to invest smartly and use the DRAFT?!! the chiefs did virtually nothing to improve its dour LB core and backfield this off-season.

your never get our afc west crown with moves like this

                          Good.

With Lenny Walls and Ty Law you've taken yourself out of contention.

I seriously doubt Law stays healthy through out the season.

Oh yeah. Your safeties are still god-awful.

Releasing Kendrell Bell doesn't help the linebacking situation. You better hope Derrick Johnson has a Ray Lewis type year.

holy crap, that says it's a 5 year deal!!

what are they thinking?? maybe it makes sense to rent the guy for a year or two, but they can't seriously intend to keep him for 5 years-- it'll be interesting to see what the details of the deal are. . . . i would expect that it's structured so they can cut him with minimal loss after the first or second year-- i'll be surprised if it includes a big signing bonus, but not if it's heavily back-loaded with some big roster bonuses the last few years of the deal. . . . i believe he has the postons as his agents, and they're notorious for insisting on "big" deals they can brag about, but often times a lot of the money is mere window dressing that the players know they'll never see. . . . but hey, i HOPE the chefs invested a ton in him-- the more the merrier!

rest in peace, darrent williams and damien nash-- you will be missed!!

So they have a guy in Pat Surtain who blew last year, and Ty Law who is probably running 4.7 40s because of his old age... Bwahahaahahahaha

But, it doesn't matter, because we usually have 300 rushing yards on their asses anyway
