Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

over-paying for some old crock who has seen better days, LOL
i love it when our rivals go into desperation mode - you see it with the raiders all offseason.
what is it with this division and old crocks who are past it?? one offseason its the raiders with big ted and sapp and then the chiefs with law this year.
when will you learn to invest smartly and use the DRAFT?!! the chiefs did virtually nothing to improve its dour LB core and backfield this off-season.
your never get our afc west crown with moves like this
what are they thinking?? maybe it makes sense to rent the guy for a year or two, but they can't seriously intend to keep him for 5 years-- it'll be interesting to see what the details of the deal are. . . . i would expect that it's structured so they can cut him with minimal loss after the first or second year-- i'll be surprised if it includes a big signing bonus, but not if it's heavily back-loaded with some big roster bonuses the last few years of the deal. . . . i believe he has the postons as his agents, and they're notorious for insisting on "big" deals they can brag about, but often times a lot of the money is mere window dressing that the players know they'll never see. . . . but hey, i HOPE the chefs invested a ton in him-- the more the merrier!
