Of course the offense is going to change somewhat. I would expect the Broncos offense to change a little bit as well with Heimerdinger in town (yes, I know Shanahan usually calls the plays). Changing the offense will not hurt it. Plus, it wasn't Vermeil's playbook. It was Al Saunders' playbook. Some of us in KC got sick of Saunders because he tried to be too cute with his playcalling. Everybody has there own opinion, and IMO the offense is going to be even better (as long as people stay health) because Larry Johnson starting for a full 16 games is going to take this offense farther than Priest Holmes ever could.

p/s...remember that cutsey playcalling saunders......also called the leagues best offense overall...his creativity was the reason....so your hopeing for a more conserative approach???

every new head coach puts his mark on a team...period...whether good or bad they dont make it useing the coach from last years offense and defense...

the chiefs defense was the weak link in a good team...herm will try to correct that....the new offensive coordinator will call his own plays... that is a garentee...he will not think, what would saunders have called at this time...he will call his own.....saunders and vermile coached the leagues best offense for years..i highly doubt a new coach with new ideas will keep it excactly the same

with denvers new coordinator being promoted fromwithin , as was the chiefs, and with denver hireing dinger , who already coached with shanny for the broncos and knows the system is alot diff then the situation in kc

No, everybody in KC was raving about LJ this time last year as well. Most people seem to think that LJ didn't burst onto the scene until this past season but the truth is he had a strong finish to the 2004 season when both Derrick Blaylock and Priest Holmes were injured. We already knew what LJ was capable of.

Unfortunately for you, nobody cares what you think. Every messageboard I post on has members who are fans of many different teams. Fans of opposing teams are just as much members as the other fans.

this is true Kmart and Chop....I been here quite awhile....longer than most Bronco fans and I like this board....wonder why it took most of them Denver fans so long to join...

I don't feel like any less of a member just cause I am a Chiefs fan..

That is one of the dumbest things I've ever heard. I'm a Broncos fan, so it's not bias here, that's just plain BS. If a KC fan has made reasonable, contributing posts, then that makes them a member of the community. A Broncos fan who's made one post and hasn't contributed much of anything yet (unless that one post was freaking huge and filled with important and useful information), is nowhere near as much of a member. Give respect to those who earn it, and how much they contribute and how mature they are is far more important than who they root for. I'm sorry, but that was just pure BS.
