    1. Carolina
    2. Baltimore
    3. Tampa Bay
    4. Cincinatti
    5. Philly

I also think the Packers will be much improved with the addition of Woodson.

Sure, I WANT us to win, but considering our record in KC, along with Jake's propensity to make mistakes when he's under pressure, I'm afraid that I will get something else.

Besides, my prediction was only that - a prediction.
Why don't you try posting without working Jake into the topic?

Yeah, for the two games he'll suit up for this year.

I can't believe how overlooked Philly's duo has been on here.

Both of them are top notch and IN their prime.

For the people complaining about Law and Surtain's age keeping them back, I wouldn't count either of them out yet. Law only aged 1 year, got healthier, and still got 10 INTs last year. Now then, the duo of Law and Surtain may not last long due to their age, but for this season (which is what's being discussed), their age isn't enough of a factor to cancel out the large amount of talent both players have.

Good luck to the chief's and their newest CB. A 5 year deal may have been a bit much (as in 2-3 years too much in my opinion), but I don't doubt that Law will have a positive impact on their Pass D.

Also, to MtnMan.. for Jake to throw 1-2 INTs to Law wouldn't be too much of a stretch... but unless KC's tackling improves (good luck Herm Edwards), he may not have to pass the ball all that much anyways. It'll be quite a game to watch.
                RIP Darrent Williams

                    Cincinnati?

Two bronco cast offs with one good year? I would take Champ Bailey + either Darrent or Fox over them. In fact, I think that our duo, whoever it is comprised of, has to be top 5.

Why don't you review my original post before making that suggestion?

I commented on the improved cb situation in KC, then made a prediction.

Actually, didn't you just make a post working Jake into the topic?

Yep, Cincinnati. Those guys are ballhawks, and it's good to see Deltha O'Neal live up to his potential, even though it's not with my favorite team. Champ Bailey is a top 5 corner for sure but D-Will or Fox have more to prove before this CB tandem is considered elite.

Law lead the league in INTs last year, i think its possible they are a top 5 duo despite age

After that kind of rookie season, how much more do they need to do to "prove it" ?

Wanna know something? Having the best Corners doesn't mean squat if you don't have good safeties...

so this window of "elite CB duo" is only 2-3 years at best.
But ill agree that it is a top 5, i think theyll pull in a good bit of INT's and make alot of teams one dimensional on offense.

                                My Top 5

                                1. Carolina
                                2. Chicago
                                3. Jacksonville
                                4. Baltimore
                                5. Kansas City

One CB duo on the rise is ours. If Darrent can continue improving along with the best Corner in the league, we will break into the elite status, and be there for years to come. Our CB core has so much potential in it, that we should be set for a long time.
                                Law is 32.

It's a good thing Jay Cutler was a proven winner in college. Oh wait, nevermind.
