I hope he just hit the snooze button on training camp.

So much for age not affecting their line. I think they had at least another year of elite play left, but that's certainly not the case if they're at home eating popcorn during the game.

I mirror Javalon's sentiment. Roaf was an excellent player.

I wish he wasn't a Chief, but it's hard to do anything but respect a player that good. The Chiefs will sorely miss him and I am happy for that, but any time you don't get to watch a talent like that play, it's a somewhat sad day.

Roaf was something special. He made the Chiefs matchup a tough one for us and anybody else that faced them.

good post AO....Roaf stated he didnt think he would be able to play at the level he had been and that is why he had decided to call it quits.I respect him for that.

It certainly sucks that the end is now, but I can't blame him if this is for good. The Superdome turf had to be murder on his legs and that was before Vermeilball.

At least he got the opportunity to walk away on his own terms. It doesn't bother me too much though. I've gone through going to games without #58 on the field and I can do the same without #77 on the line.

Sucks, but that's the NFL. I do not think he will be coming back, either. CP and Herm would have gave him every opportunity to rest through all of training game, so I don't buy the "getting out of fines" line.

So long Willie. Also, can uh......Ty Law play Left Tackle? Need to know ASAP! Kthx
