  • Carson a lock to start against Green Bay

Carson Palmer says he is ready to play!

Barring any setbacks, it looks like Palmer's going to be ready for the opening game against Kansas City in week 1.

    Woo hoo hoo!!!

This is an amazing comeback, and I will be at the game to cheer him on!

Perhaps you failed to notice this, but this is the "Other Teams" forum. This is THE place to post this kind of news.

      I'm being polite this time.

      And only this time.

      :brick:

EDIT: Man, you edited your post. Okay...

          Go Palmer

I hope Marv doesn't play him too long. 3 Reasons:

          1. I hope he doesn't get injured again, someone needs to get payback on the Steelers.

          2. Anthony Wright runs the offense well, and would be good to leave in there while Carson is 100%. Ease him in, you know?

          3. If you beat the Packers bad enough, you might knock Farve back into retirement.

            1. Damn straight. Payback's a... you know the rest.

            2. He hasn't looked too bad, has he? The only issue I have with him is his height. I've seen a lot more passes getting batted down by linemen then I would like, and that's just not going to fly when we play against Pittsburgh or Baltimore.

            3. You would think that what we did to him last year would have been enough.

            HEAR ME ROAR!

                      I wonder why

I hope both of your teams win their respective divsions, especially Miami.

I think Carson Palmer will be just fine once he can take his first hit and pop back up and forget about his injury.

I think Culpepper will be fine when he stiff arms Casey Hampton for a first down on week 1.

Now your talking my language. I read that last week he put a nasty block on Vonnie Holiday during a reverse. That must have sucked being taken out of a play by the QB
