  • Kubiak NO 'Mastermind'

For those of you good Broncos fans who believe the reason for the Broncos lack of O production stems from the lack of Kubiak's presence, I have some news for you. You're dead wrong. With that, tonights Broncos offensive performance almost gets an 'A' for awful.

After watching the Dullus / Texass game it seems Kubiak has forgoten everything he learned with the Broncos. Kubiak had a shaky halftime lead. Both teams were pass happy in the first half and both had a lack of offensive output to show for it. Dullus came out in the second half and 'RAN' the ball and like f***ing magic their offensive output increased and they scored. Gee imagine that? So would you think Kuback would at least make an effort and try putting together a running game. Not even Karr throwing his first int in the second half could school Kubiak.

    As for the Broncos...
Give Chokeland's D their Props they put up good fight. As far as the Broncos O is concerned their is need for concern.

      Play calling

      His play calling was absurd.

True enough... Vince Lombardi couldn't win with a Dom Capers team.

Dude, Kubiak coaches the freaking TEXANS!! Give him time to draft and coach up his own players and you will take back that statement. The Broncos miss his expertise and it is showing. You can only coach the talent you got.

            Highschool

I don't care if he was coaching your local highschool team. If you don't even make an attempt to establish a running game during the game you wouldn't be coaching my team.

This is my point of view on this.

The best part of the Texans offense is the passing game. You see Denver fingerprints all over it--Kubiaks with the QB, K Shanahan with the WR, Pariani with the TE.

The offensive line is being coached by Mike Sherman. His ZBS he is teaching is different than the Denver one, and doesn't work well with the Denver type play calling. The Texans running backs clearly are not some of the better ones in the league, but the biggest problem with running is that there are no holes.

I'm going to have a detailed blog post on this in a couple of days. The biggest improvement on the team has been with the QB play. Carr is so much improved as a QB from his best previous year 2004, to the present. Carr threw 2 interceptions today, (1 his fault, 1 tipped), but ultimately, no QB is going to be throwing consistently if the run game cannot work.

It is not the play calling. Kubiak wants to establish the run but he can't--doesn't have the personnel at RB and line, and the coaching of the line is a little suspect.

Well I don't know many coaches who would be employed if they tried to establish a runnng game down by 4 touchdowns.

                  The run

If he wanted to establish the run he would have attempted to establish the run. He is the 'head coach'.

The lack of running backs ability is NO exuse to atleast try and establish some sort of running game. BTW- their backs aren't 'that' bad. There is no one that is going to side with a one dimensional offense. No matter how good Carr is doing he won't be doing good for long with out a little help from the running game. If I'm not mistaken I think his QB rating took a big hit today.

Ah, the Texans had the lead at half time.

I've never read so many lame substitutions for team names in my life. It was hard to take anything you wrote seriously.

I also watched the game, and I saw the front seven of Dallas simply destroying Houston's OL. Is this some sort of joke?

Lesse here...you've got slow-ass Ron Dayne as your first stringer, a player who's literally too fat to fit into the smallish holes. You've got your entire interior getting blown off the ball by one player. You've also got one of the better QB's in the league to go along with the Houston version of Terrell Owens. And, on top of that, your pass pro isn't lookin' so bad after all!

Gee, what to do, what to do?

OMG KUBES GOT BEAT BY A CLEARLY SUPERIOR TEAM!!!!! WHAT A FRIGGING IDIOT!!! DAMN I'M GLAD HE'S GONE!!!!!

                            superior?

Well let's see, if Dullass (is that a better substitution?) was so superior why were they behind going into the second half? At Home.

If the cowboys D line was blowing Kubiak's O-line all over the place the rule of thumb is you NEVER get into a one dimensional passing game under those circumstances. Specially when you have the LEAD!?!!?

Actually, you just made my point even stronger.
