Matt Bryant of Tampa Bay hit a 62 yard FG as time expired to beat the Eagles. Whew, he almost beat Elam's record!

Actually he tied it, the longest in History, which made by a kicker who had a half a foot, kicked a 6 2 yarder, setting the record, but he has tied it, and also, did anyone see the NCAA record for biggest comeback Saturday night? Between MSU and Northwestern, when Northwestern led MSU 38-3 in the third Q! Late as well, and MSU came back..won...38-41.

So did the guy from NO. When it comes down to technicallity Elam is still #2 because teh guy from NO kicked a 63 1/2 yarder, but they dont record that.

        Bryant ranks 3rd all time.

I thought it was the other way around GC. That Elam kicked it 63 1/2 and Dempsey kicked it 63. I'll see if I can find anything.

You're right, GC has it backward. The tape shows Elam's kick was a foot longer than Dempsey's.
Ah, i knew it was one or the other.

Dempsey also had like a metal boot for a foot, haha. Reminds me of that skit on some British comedy where a guy kicks a soccer-ball and it travels around the world and hits him in the back of the head.
