You're right, GC has it backward. The tape shows Elam's kick was a foot longer than Dempsey's.

So did the guy from NO. When it comes down to technicallity Elam is still #2 because teh guy from NO kicked a 63 1/2 yarder, but they dont record that.

Between MSU and Northwestern, when Northwestern led MSU 38-3 in the third Q! Late as well, and MSU came back..won...38-41.
