nah.....I'm going with the team with the 3 SBs and winning history, over the 1 playoff win in about 6 decades.

      Objectively.

Most outlandish comment I've seen on this forum in a long time, with a big cherry picked span.
Broncos aren't near the level of bad franchise as the Lions.

I clearly stated recent history and compared the two franchises over the last 5 seasons. The Broncos have 4 back to back losing seasons in 5 seasons. The Lions have two winning seasons in that time.

Objectively during that time the Broncos were not as good as the Lions. It’s fact.

Lions are a very unlucky franchise. When you think about their division rivals, they never really get a chance to succeed. A lot of teams are in divisions where the top team will lose a step, where 2 teams might lose a step.

Lions are in a division with the Packers that went from 15yrs of Brett Favre to 15yrs of Aaron Rodgers.
All the while the Vikings also had Brett Favre in a season they would've made the Super Bowl had Favre rushed instead of just chucking the ball.
4 seasons Cousins, 5 of Culpepper. Warron Moon, Tarkenton, Brad Johnson, and Cunningham. Vikes are usually competitive.

Bears ruled the 80s in the division for 6yrs and like the Vikes usually are competitive.

Lions don't get a break with who they play against twice a season, all the while having one of the worst front offices for 20yrs. Lions are a franchise where 2 Hall of famers retired earlier vs staying with the team.(Megatron and Barry)

What you stated is a cherry picked stat, saying in the last 5yrs makes it cherry picked to not include more loses for one side. Most ppl in sports would call recent history the last decade. The Broncos have made it to 2 super bowls and won 1 in the last decade.(in fact 6 seasons ago) Broncos have Lions beat.

How does Great Britain react to having games in "their house"?

                      True all of that.

Some of the greatest players to ever play the game....Sanders and Megatron for starters. I feel for the fans though. They deserve better.

Call it whatever, the Broncos have been one of the absolute worst franchises over the last 5 seasons and objectively worse than the Lions in that time with 4 back to back losing seasons.

The front office simply doesn't know how to build. They fired Caldwell when it was looking like the team was improving. Their scouting department and GMs have had no clue how to draft to a point where under Matt Millen before memes were a thing, Lions drafting a WR was a meme. Where each year for 8yrs one of their first 2 picks would be used on a wide out. Never being able to draft or build a solid defense all the while having good individual talent in some positions.

And at the end of the day, it comes down to an Ownership that doesn't actually care. The Ford family owns the Lions. And they kinda only own them because it's kind of always been a thing in Michigan for a native to own the teams.

The difference is the family the Fords wanted to copy(Illitch Family) deeply cared for the team and city.

                          • Vance Joseph just rushed 4, had three guys standing on the 10 yard line, and gave up a Hail Mary. lol.

That's the problem. Fangio has planned for the wrong team.
