Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

Jim Rome reported that during his interview with Shad Khan and Trent Baalke, Khan asked Doug Pederson if he felt he could work with Baalke. How many potential candidates declined a request by Baalke to be interviewed? One wonders what the situation is in Jacksonville with the owner and his GM.
Doug Pederson appointed HC of the Jaguars. It's a surprise develoment as it seemed for all money as if Leftwich had got the job - and some media had even reported as such last week.

Leftwich withdrew himself from consideration because he didn't want to work with Jags GM Trent Baalke. He wanted them to hire Adrian Wilson from the Cardinals.

Fair enough, but the point we are discussing is whether he retires from coaching. Sure, he may come back as a coach, or a manager, or a tv commentator, or even as a business owner. But he may not come back as a coach.
He said he’s not done coaching. He’s going to do TV for a year.
I am simply happy that widdle, bitty baby Jim Harbaugh is staying at MI so I don't have to see his whiny, arrogant face in the NFL.
Combined with Brady quitting (hopefully that doesn't change), NE/KC/LV all being face punched out of the playoffs... I'm super happy with football right now .
He said he wasn’t done with football but at this time his heart is not in it.

Although I can see him maybe coming back in a year, if the right team/offer comes his way. and although I did not see the entire press conference, where did he say he was going to coach again?

Both Frazier and Daboll possibly leaving Buffalo. But McDermott says that if Daboll leaves, Josh Allen will have a say in who replaces him. That's the right approach. You want to win, you include key players in the discussion whenever it makes sense to do so. It not only helps you make good decisions, but it makes that player want to play for you even more.
He’s not retiring. He said as much in his press conference.
