Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

Bengals WR Johnson cooperates in Miami murder investigation
[SIZE=4]
"Chad has confirmed to the club that he cooperated with the Miami Police earlier this week as part of an investigation," the team said in a statement released Friday to the Associated Press. "Police have characterized this as a routine procedure and have stressed that Chad is not a suspect or even a person of interest in this case."
I wonder what all happened!
if he was involved or if he was just questioned!
pretty interesting!
Read the bold... if he was involved then he would be a person of interest, at the very least.
It says he's not a person of interest or a suspect.
Just because he's a big name, and a Bengal of all teams, does not mean he is involved in every sort of crime there is.
I'll just put it this way. If it casually said: "Local Joe Schmoe cooperated with Miami PD in the ongoing murdur investigation," Nobody would even deign to try and think he was involved in any sort of way asides being a witness.
I 99% guarentee (cuz you never know) that he is not going to get charged with anything related to this crime at all.
Bengals WR Johnson cooperates in Miami murder investigation
MIAMI -- Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chad Johnson was questioned by Miami police regarding an investigation into the shooting death of a man.
Johnson, a Miami native, spoke with detectives Monday at police headquarters, according to The Miami Herald.
"Chad has confirmed to the club that he cooperated with the Miami Police earlier this week as part of an investigation," the team said in a statement released Friday to the Associated Press. "Police have characterized this as a routine procedure and have stressed that Chad is not a suspect or even a person of interest in this case."
Authorities have not said why Johnson was questioned or what connection he may have had in the death of Curtis Tavares Dopson last Friday.
The 27-year-old Dopson was shot near the doorway of a duplex he moved into about four months ago, the newspaper said. No arrests have been made.
