Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

That guy needs to stop playing this game. I guess he's just playing to get in the record books. He wants to be #1 in everything for a QB. That way he is assurred the HOF (though I think he would already make it as is).

I don't know why he's coming back. Green Bay is still a young team and lets be honest, won't make the SuperBowl next year. He's going for the record books. He doesn't want anyone to touch that interception record
I have no idea why anyone would want an all-time great to go away! That's your issue, people....Not Brett Favre's! Favre may not be at the top of the league anymore, but he can still play at a high level....And don't give me that "throws too many INT's" BS. There just aren't a lot of competent QB's out there.
I hope he plays more than one year (Maybe three) as Green Bay starts to spend some of that fortune they have under the cap. And make another run at a trophy.
People like Vinny Testeverdi and Doug Flutie play til they are 44 and no one say's a word...But you people can't wait to see Brett Favre go?
Rod Smith, Brett Favre....I'll never understand the contempt fans have for people that have done so much, but have never even met!
If he is back....Great!
.......Deal with it!.....Get over it!.....Acknowledge!....Move on!
OMG! That's just not right! HOF'ers trying to set records on our sacred land....The nerve of that guy!
riiight because I evidentally hate the guy. How dare him
I think he's a great QB and in a no brainer for the HOF, I could see him coming back another year with another team if he wanted to make it to the SB, I just don't see him taking the Packers. However with the NFC, anything is possible
Brett Favre hasn't played at a high level the last two seasons. I think that more than anything has spurred him to come back. They Packers have had chances to win on National television and then later in the season they could have been thorns in the sides of playoff-bound teams and they've failed...miserably.
The failure of his team the last two years to be competitive can't sit well with one of the leagues all-time fiercest competitors.
I had already accepted Brett passing Elway in the wins department two years ago, I didn't think it would take until next season to do it.
Just think, Elway won the most games in least amount of time. Favre hasn't missed a game since when? Elway missed ton of games in 16 seasons and Favre still hasn't passed him. that says a lot about Elway
I'm a bit surprised. The way he looked after his last game this year made it seem like he knew he played his last game.
I don't mind him going after a record or two, the problems I have with Farve is potentially ending on a sour note and possibly hurting the future of his team.
Right now the GB offense is fairly talented and not too old. Farve comes in as a short term solution (VERY short term). If he plays like he did last year, they might have a shot at playoffs, but I seriously doubt anything near NFCCG (then again...it is the NFC...). If he plays like he did two years ago, they are sunk again. Aaron Rogers has been patiently sitting on the bench, waiting for a chance, and I'm afraid they are hurting his future.
Given the fat chance GB actually accomplishes something next season, I would like to see Farve take a back seat to Rogers and let the kid develop. Farve would be a great mentor, an ultimate backup, and still a HoFer.
Brett Favre sucks, he is trying to copy the HOF John Elway. He will never win another SB, he may get the TD record but he sure as hell going to have that most INT by a QB record.
He used viagra to throw those long passes in his only SB win. Its true.
This is wonderful news for me as I am planning on attending the Green Bay Denver game. It will make both my goals complete, see Favre play and goto a Denver game at home
"On a given day, a given circumstance, you think you have a limit. And you then go for this limit and you touch this limit, and you think, 'Okay, this is the limit'. And so you touch this limit, something happens and you suddenly can go a little bit further. With your mind power, your determination, your instinct, and the experience as well, you can fly very high."
