Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

I say the Jags take him. They may even go player for player with Houston - the Texans will be begging for defensive help!
Five years ago, YOU would have been excited about David Carr. You know what I find interesting? The Houston Texans should be excited about David Carr. Guess not. Kubiac is up to something. Jake Plummer anyone? Doesn't matter who winds up in Houston, Domanick Davis is going to come back healthy, and take all the pressure off of the quarter back, and they'll be like, "told ya so".
Nah, they'll probably find a way to lose Davis too.

Maybe I am thinking of the wrong guy, but isn't Davis the guy with the degenerative knees? Same thing that took T. Davis out of the game? I've heard he's pretty much done. Once the knees get this issue, they don't come back.

You're right, Davis has been on record saying he won't have another surgery and his knee is only going to get worse. I feel bad because I now he wants to go back, but realistically, he'll most likely never play another down of football.
As for David Carr, anyone that has paid any attention to what I post know that he's my favorite player in the entire NFL. I'll be very sad if he ends up being traded, he's a good quaterback, and I'll always stand behind that. However, if he does get traded, I really hope that we draft Drew Stanton
Power is not revealed by striking hard or often, but by striking true.
It is men who endure toil and dare danger that achieve glorious deeds, and it is a wonderful thing to live with courage and to die leaving behind an everlasting renown.

Darn, didn't know tht. He put up crazy numbers his first couple of years in the league, and had rediculous speed. I figured he was probably on his way to recovery. Maybe Houston can put Mario Williams in the backfeild, and he'll rush for a grand. Morons.
I heard rumors that David Carr could be traded to the Minnesota for a mid round pick. Probably fourth. Then Minnesota could let Tavaris Jackson and David Carr compete against one another in training camp.
