Believe me, I'm rooting for Brooks.

I had him autograph a hat for me at camp last year, and damn, I want that thing to be worth some money!

I don't think he'll disappoint us, though. The guy's a beast. I'm a big guy, and he made me feel small. Linebackers don't normally make me feel like that - I've met Pollack before, and he looks like an average guy with a little extra muscle on him. Not particularly intimidating.

When I met Ahmad, he still hadn't made the team yet because cuts hadn't been announced, and someone said, "Hey Ahmad, what number are you going to wear?" He replied, "I gotta earn that first. Don't have one yet." And he was serious. Even though he knew he was going to make the team, I think he said it to keep himself motivated. He seems to have a good work ethic, and I think he'll be one of the good guys going forward.

Yeah, that is what Marvin liked so much about him... he has a great work ethic, and he is very serious about being able to play the best possible even though he was learning 3 different positions.

Resisting the urge to say something Shannie here...I will just say that if they would pay me to keep an eye on a player 24/7 I would volunteer for the job!!!

I said from the start that Brooks was my boy and though everyone was freaking out about him and his past and letting him on the team given his "character issues" and I said he would be a machine...me...and I stand by it!!! Brooks is amazing!!!

Smith would not be all bad I guess if he didn't get pushed up the field and out of position so easily, and I think he over-pursuits too often!!! Just doesn't seem to have that instinct and read that is needed!!! I just don't care for him and I think we can do better!!!
