Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

Get off Vick's back... at this point in time all it is is speculation as to whether he had anything to do with it. They think he might, but do any of you know the phrase "innocent until proven guilty??" I know that is a forgotten phrase in our society and justice system, but it is still how it is.

The probe at Vick's property is the latest in a serious of embarrassing incidents for the Atlanta quarterback.
He was named in a sordid lawsuit that accused him of knowingly infecting a woman with a sexually transmitted disease and using the alias "Ron Mexico" while seeking treatment. The case was settled out of court.
Last season, Vick flashed an obscene hand gesture to heckling Atlanta fans as he walked off the field following a dismal loss to New Orleans. He was fined $10,000 by the NFL and donated another $10,000 to charity.
In January, security officers at Miami International Airport seized a water bottle from Vick that they said smelled of marijuana and had a hidden compartment. Authorities later said there were no drugs in the bottle, and Vick explained that he used the secret compartment to carry jewelry.
Just this week, Vick came under more criticism when he failed to show for a lobbying appearance on Capitol Hill in support of increased funding for after-school programs. He missed a connecting flight in Atlanta and didn't turn up for a later flight.
yeah get off vicks back. he is an outstanding an law abiding citizen.
well i hope vick isnt involved in any of this.
i guess having the police raiding a house, that you own but seldom go to, on a drug charge that the current tenant, your relative, has.
im sure if vick has been to the home recently he would not have seen the 60 odd number of dogs around the house.
dont get me wrong i do understand your point in innocent until proven guilty but imho it looks like vick will be answering a ton of q's to the dawg pound and im not talking about playing in cleveland
And they shouldn't be. It's a horriffic crime. Only someone with a heart colder than ice could abuse an animal that would otherwise love you unconditionally and can't fight back.

I was never completely sold on the whole Ron Mexico herpes thing to be completely honest. It is a possibility and I may be giving him too much credit, but I just don't see him doing that.
When he flipped the fans off... I honestly didn't blame him. He doesn't deserve a lot of the criticism he gets, and the stress that comes with it is probably just ridiculous.
As for the water bottle... it says right there that they later said it wasn't drugs, so it was fine. And the missing a flight thing... I already mentioned in another thread that he is still a human being... and human beings make mistakes, at times those mistakes being missed flights.
I know he will be answering a lot, and I know that there is more than likely a high probability that he may have had some kind of idea. My only point was to say that right now he is barely a suspect, and from what we know for a fact it was his nephew so to jump all over Vick like he definitely had something to do with it already is just ridiculous.

If Vick had foreknowledge, you can bet his cousin will sing like a canary in order to get a lighter sentence
How do you think the Water-bottle scandal and trespassing charges went by-by?
Vick will buy his way out of this one too! The evidence of this will be that his cousin gets off with a slap on the wrist.
You can break damn near any law and get away with it if your loaded. The exception of this rule is if you **** with someone elses money! For example the Quest d0uchebag, Ralph Macchio. Rich people can even kill someone, just as long as they don't do it for money.

That only works when you don't cross the wrong people. In this case, those rabid and vocal lunatics at PETA won't keep quiet about it, they will try to force an investigation. The water bottle incident affected no one but Mr. Mexico...
