The Niners and Seahawks are discussing a trade ro send WR Darrell Jackson to the Niners for a 4th round pick. My question is why are the seahawks trading him withon the division.

If this is true, then IMO its a smart move by the 49ers... assuming they dont give up more than necessary for jackson. By doing this, they can focus on bigger needs via the draft, such as DB and DT and LB.... it'll be interesting to see if the seahawks trade to a division foe.

Definitely a steal for us. It's not even our first fourth rounder. Yeah, he does have injury concerns, but he is worth the trade. I just hope we take a receiver in the second round. Someone like Jason Hill.

Who really wants a vet wideout who wants a new deal when a quality prospect can be plucked from the first 3 or 4 rounds of the draft? It's been reported for a while now...there's was a poor market for D-Jack.

If this was last year, I bet we're talking about a late 2nd rounder.

Still, there are chances he could easily have a bounceback 1,000+ yard season and considering the 49ers swept the seahawks last season, I didn't think they'd trade a potentially great target to them at a bargain (but understandable) price.
